講的是一種昆蟲(chóng)很喜歡吃玉米，文章說(shuō)有三種方法來(lái)消滅它。分別是1.用除蟲(chóng)劑，2.早點(diǎn)種玉米，3.把玉米和大豆輪流種。聽(tīng)力反駁。1.除蟲(chóng)劑只是一段時(shí)間內(nèi)起作用因?yàn)槔ハx(chóng)會(huì)有抗藥性，2.過(guò)早種玉米會(huì)被霜雪天氣毀掉，3.昆蟲(chóng)可以延遲一年從卵出來(lái)，所以出來(lái)還是會(huì)吃玉米

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Young people should try several different jobs before they take a long term career.

Sample answer：

When I was in college, I held several jobs working for others, such as a waiter in restaurant, a dishwasher, and a food delivery guy. Generally, many young people take several different kinds of jobs when they first come into the community. I believe this is unavoidable; because most young people graduate from college with no work experience, they do not know what type of career they want to pursue. Therefore, if someone asked me, “Do you think that young people should take several different kinds of jobs before they pursue a long-term career?” my answer would be an absolute “Yes.” I believe that gaining experience by working several different jobs before pursuing a long-term career is beneficial and indispensable to people’s lifetime careers for several reasons.

First, young people can acquire much knowledge and many skills by working several jobs, no matter how unremarkable they are. For example, by working as a cashier in a supermarket, I could learn about what people buy, which would be valuable information if I later pursued a marketing career. So whatever you do, do your best, as any job could lead to your future success.    

Second, working several jobs helps young people mature as they gain valuable experience and make many friends. A friend of mine whose major was electronic engineering had worked as a purchasing assistant before, responsible for purchasing various kinds of electronic equipment, so he knew which kind of instrument is best for which kind of work. He went on to apply for a position as an electronic engineer for another employer who was satisfied with his former experience as a purchasing assistant, so he got the job that a lot of people want. He tells me all the time that if he had not had that purchasing experience, he would not have gotten the job that he has now.

We must strive to do our best at any temporary job, as gaining experience is indispensable preparation for our lifetime career. We can utilize the knowledge, techniques, and experience we acquire while working a short-term job to assist us when we pursue our long-term career. I therefore believe that young people should work several different jobs to obtain experience before they identify and pursue their lifetime career.
