英國簽證所需語言考試有重大變化

根據(jù)2月22日British Council 英國文化協(xié)會發(fā)布的官方消息，英國政府方面宣布簽證承認(rèn)的語言考試將大大減少，在管理執(zhí)行這些考試上也將引進(jìn)新的要求。從公告信息來看，雅思考試將獨挑大梁，托�？荚嚮�本上被排除在外，公告原文及解讀如下：

The UK government has announced important changes to language testing for visa applications, reducing the number of tests acceptedfor visa purposes and bringing in new requirements for the way the tests will be administered.

20日官方消息，英國政府方面宣布簽證承認(rèn)的語言考試將大大減少，在管理執(zhí)行這些考試上也將引進(jìn)新的要求。

IELTS – the world’s most popular test of English for higher education and global migration– has been approved for all UK visas that require applicants to provide proofof their level of English. This continues the important role which IELTS haslong played in language testing for immigration in the UK and other countries,including Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

雅思是世界上用于高等教育和移民語言考試的最受歡迎的一門test，現(xiàn)在被推崇為任何英國簽證都可行的語言考試。

Under the new arrangements, IELTS tests for UK visaapplications will be offered throughout the year in more than 100 key locations throughout the world, and a new test – IELTS Life Skills – will be introduced for people who need to prove their speaking and listening skills at level A1or B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

隨后將會引進(jìn)一門新的語言考試，IELTS Life Skills，針對對象為需要證明說和聽的能力能達(dá)到CEFR下的A1，B1水準(zhǔn)的群體。

A1：針對一般移民需要達(dá)到的英語水平規(guī)定，基本的定義為能夠在英國于當(dāng)?shù)厝诉M(jìn)行簡單的語言交流，能夠聽懂一些必要的生活用語，并理解。因此目前申請英國配偶簽證的移民需要達(dá)到所謂英國A1的英語等級水平。相當(dāng)于雅思3.

B1：是2013年10月起英國內(nèi)政部對所有永居和入籍申請者規(guī)定的兩項英語測試之一，另一項則是考察英國生活知識的 Life in the UK測試。嚴(yán)格意義上講，B1并不是英語考試的名稱，而是歐盟官方機構(gòu)在各國語言的學(xué)習(xí)、教育和測試方面所采納的簡稱為歐盟語言教學(xué)測試參照框架(CEFR)體系中的等級之一，永居、入籍要求申請人的聽、說兩項達(dá)到B1水平。相當(dāng)于雅思4.

什么是CEFR?

歐盟語言教學(xué)測試參照框架，簡稱CEFR，全稱The Common European Framework ofReference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment。CEFR體系將語言能力分為三級：A為基礎(chǔ)使用者；B為獨立使用者；C為專精使用者。
