如何避免雅思寫作中的虎頭蛇尾現(xiàn)象

結(jié)尾段三大功能

1、所有一些表示結(jié)論的連接詞來表明文章接近尾聲。

2、給出作者對論題的最終性的思考和評價。

3、對文章中提出的論點進行斟酌和權(quán)衡，并強調(diào)和突出作者的觀點。

注意：千萬不要簡單地重復(fù)引言段的內(nèi)容，而是應(yīng)該融入主體段的種種論點，然后再進行一個綜合性的整理，以便形成一個全面的結(jié)論。

結(jié)尾段三種模式

1、綜合歸納式

題目：In some countries the average worker is obliged to retire at the age of 50 while in others people can work until they are 65 or 70. Meanwhile, we see some politicians enjoying power well into their eighties. Clearly, there is little agreement on an appropriate retirement age. Until what age do you think people should be encouraged to remain in paid employment? Give reasons for your answer.

在該文的引言段中，作者表明了自己的觀點：It is my belief, however, that the longer an able person is allowed to work, the better for both the individual worker and the employer. 因此，主體段談?wù)摰木褪悄觊L的員工給企業(yè)，本人甚至政府等三方面帶來的諸多好處。

把上述的種種論點進行一個綜合性的歸納，我們可以有如下的結(jié)尾段：

Thus, workers who can still demonstrate their capacity to carry out their work should not be asked to retire simply because they have reached a certain age. Societies that insist on early retirement may do well to look again at their policies。

其中，thus…..是表示結(jié)論的連接詞。結(jié)尾段中提出的結(jié)論是：只要員工具有勝任工作的能力，就可以繼續(xù)保留在其工作崗位上。同時有指出：堅持提前退休的社會制度應(yīng)當重新考慮其相關(guān)政策。這樣的結(jié)尾就很好地把員工，企業(yè)和政府三方面有效地結(jié)合了起來。

2、比較對照式

題目：The idea of going overseas for university study is an exciting prospect for many people. But while it may offer some advantages, it is probably better to stay home because of the difficulties a student inevitably encounters living and studying in a different culture. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement? Give reasons for your answer.

作者在引言段中的觀點是：But while overseas study has its drawbacks, the difficulties are far outweighed by the advantages. Indeed, people who go abroad for study open themselves up to experiences that those who stay at home will never have.因此，在主體段中，作者就著重闡述海外留學(xué)的種種益處。

作為總結(jié)，結(jié)尾段可仿照引言段的寫作手法，把海外留學(xué)的弊端與益處進行一個鮮明的比較和對照。下面是該文結(jié)尾段的一個范例：

In conclusion, while any anxiety about going overseas for university study is certainly understandable, it is important to remember that the benefits offered by the experience make it well worthwhile.

其中，in conclusion……為暗示結(jié)尾的連接詞。結(jié)尾段中用while進行對比，既指出對于海外留學(xué)的擔(dān)憂是不無道理的，但同時更指出其益處是極有價值的。

3、高瞻遠矚式

題目：The mass media, including television, radio and newspapers, have great influence in shaping people’s ideas. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer.

在引言段中，作者是這樣表達自己對大眾傳媒的觀點的：The mass media have a powerful influence in shaping our lives. We have come to depend on them for information and entertainment, and in doing so, we let them affect important aspects of our lives.

在這種模式中，我們先可以簡單地小結(jié)一下，然后，用強調(diào)的話語把事物的發(fā)展趨勢推至未來，指出其將來的發(fā)展勢頭。下面是該模式的結(jié)尾段范文：

In summary, I would agree that the mass media’s influence is certainly great. Indeed, with technological advancements such as the Internet bringing even more forms of electronic media to our

其中，in summary……是表示結(jié)尾的連接詞。第一句話簡單地總結(jié)了大眾傳媒的巨大作用，隨后用indeed……進行進一步闡述，指出隨著科技的發(fā)展，特別是因特網(wǎng)的普及，大眾傳媒的影響將日益廣泛和深入。
