一篇修改后的學(xué)生范文：

People always say that men and women act differently in many aspects. In some countries, they have quite distinct roles to play in parenthood.

One of the possible reasons for this consequence may lie in their male-dominated society. In some part of the world, some stereotyped considerations such as ‘men should be the breadwinner in a family’ ‘ the virtue of women is staying at home, doing cleaning work and take care of her family ’ have been in existence for centuries. This difference leads to childrens’ different decision-making plans. More young men may choose to pursue their dreams of becoming professionals and experts, while more young women may prefer hiding their talent, devoting themselves to some unavoidable chores.

In addition, varied education background and living environment can lead to diversified parents’ personalities, which can also contribute to their offspring’s behaviours. Mothers are more likely to be tender and soft; they would avoid punishment as much as they can, so it is quite possible that a kid is spoiled with only a mother like this. However, fathers’ high expectations and relatively strict requirements on their children may correct the young’s misbehaviours. As a result, the combination can become a good balance in families so that children can be well-behaved.

As far as I am concerned, this gap between men and women will be less in the future for there is an increasingly number of people who are fighting for women’s right of receiving better education, getting fairly paid and so on. It is also notable to see that more males are being active at home, nursing children and spending more time communicating with them face-to-face. 

To conclude, men and women should fulfill their responsibilities in a family and share more duties together to create a better living atmosphere to all.
