Personally, I would like to choose planting flowers in my community. Firstly, it is such an effective way to benefit our environment. Through photosynthesis, plants are able to absorb carbon dioxide which can lead to global warming. Then they release oxygen. as we all know, it is good for human body and the atmosphere. A good example is that people in my hometown paid little attention to planting trees twenty years ago. With the increasing awareness of protecting environment, the city set up ‘Planting Day’. Now, the air quality has been much more improved and residents have more chances to embrace nature. We are all glad to see the prettier roads and sidewalks of the city.

2.Talk about the biggest change in your country over the past twenty years.

Personally speaking, the biggest change in my country over the past twenty years is the deterioration of environmental condition. Taking my hometown as an example, there is no denying that the economic development has brought about some significant changes of our life quality, but it also has caused a variety of problems, such as air pollution. The expansive private cars on the roads keep emitting carbon dioxide which will lead to global warming. Also, some cities in North China have haze and people have to wear mask when staying outdoors, since some harmful particles in the air can damage our lung. It is urgent for us to taking action to save our country.

1.Some people prefer to engage in activities alone. Others prefer to participate in a group activity. Which fo you prefer and why?

Personally, I would like to choose to engage in group activity. Taking myself as an example, I participated in drama club last year, and it gives me such a good chance to meet a bunch of people who share the common interests. I make a lots of friends from different majors and we even hang out together usually for a movie or concert on weekends. Meanwhile, as a team, we gave plenty of brilliant performances of the classical dramas on stage. Through working together, I learnt how to cooperate with my members and I realized the significance of effective communication. However, if I engage in activities alone, I wouldn’t be able to harvest those friendships and prepare myself well for future career.

2.In order to be successful, some people prefer to make risky decisions. Others prefer low-risk decisions. Which do you prefer and why?

Personally, I prefer the low-risk decisions compared with making risky decisions. Usually, low-risk decisions tend to involve us in more familiar situations, so the upcoming results are more predictable. It effectively avoids us to get into trouble, but risky decisions are more like going on a new path which is definitely full of uncertainties. Taking myself as an example, whenever I choose the make-ups or skincare cosmetics, I always trust the brand I often use like Lancome and Bobbi Brown and those products I have tested. It ensures the quality of the products and I wouldn’t have to worry about some negative effects it may cause. By contrast, I did try something else which gave me skin allergy. Such a nightmare.
