關于食物Part1

Discovering a piece of new land: 發(fā)現新大陸，經常用在一些新奇的，獵奇的東西上面。

(1) Do you like to try new food?

Yes, I love to try new food. Whenever I go to an unfamiliar place, the first thing I do is to find if there is something I haven’t tried before. It’s really exciting when I find something good and new, just like discovering a piece of new land.

(2) Have you ever tried foreign food?

Yes of course. In my daily life, I’m always curious about the newly opened restaurants in my city. I have tried American Burger, Italian pasta, Japanese Sushi, Thai Tomyamgong, Indian curry and also French macaroon etc. Also, when I travel abroad, I will definitely go to the local restaurant. So I do have tried a lot of foreign food.

(3) What kinds of foreign food are popular in your country?

It depends actually. Among younger generation, American fast food like burgers, chips, and fried chickens is the most popular one. While among people in my age, Japanese sushi, ramen, sashimi, and some other more delicate food are more popular since they are perfect choices for a date or other important occasions.

(4) Do you like any food from the countries near China?

Yes. I love Japanese food. For the reason that most of Japanese food are made of decent and fresh raw material, like sushi and sashimi, they maintain the original flavor of natural food. I also love that Japanese food is well balanced, in a classic Japanese meal, carbohydrate, fiber, protein and all kinds of vitamins are very well balanced. It is really healthy to eat in a Japanese style.

(5) What kinds of new food have you tried recently?

Well, I haven’t tried much new food recently, but one thing really took my fancy. It’s called starry night, a French styled dessert, made of fine chocolate and raspberry jam. It looked just like a stone painted with starry sky, elegant and beautifully made. The taste was stunning as well, perfect combination between bitter sweet and sour. The only thing may stop me from having it a lot I think should be the price, about 100rmb per piece.
