雅思閱讀Summary題需要把握的三大邏輯

雅思閱讀是當中比較容易拿分的選項，所以在做這一部分題目時，對于正確率要求也就比較高。所以在這一部分，老師也為大家多做一些介紹，本期講解的是Summary題需要把握的三大邏輯，希望能給同學們帶來幫助。

閱讀Summary填空分為兩種，一種是直接填寫單詞，一種是帶選項的填空。與單句填空相比，summary通常由一個或幾個自然段組成。作為段落，有它自己的句間邏輯和段間邏輯，這些邏輯也會體現(xiàn)在原文中，因此，在我們做題的時候把握好這些邏輯將對定位答案有很大幫助。

在summary審題時，我們至少需要把握這三種邏輯關(guān)系：轉(zhuǎn)折、因果、舉例

例如劍10的這道題：

The value attached to original works of art

People go to art museums because they accept the value of seeing an original work of art. But they do not go to museums to read original manuscripts of novels, perhaps because the availability of novels has depended on ___1____ for so long and also because with novels, ___2____ are the most important thing.

首句將人們?nèi)ニ囆g(shù)博物館的原因是欣賞原作。第二句話出現(xiàn)but這個明確的轉(zhuǎn)折，以及兩個because(因果關(guān)系)。很明顯，我們要找的1和2就是人們不去博物館讀小說原稿的兩個原因。

轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系在原文中是這樣體現(xiàn)的：However... few people would bother to go to a museum to read the writer’s actual manuscript rather than a printed reproduction.

而因果關(guān)系是：This might be explained by the fact that the novel has evolved precisely because of technological developments that made it possible to print out huge numbers of texts.

至此，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)第一個原因就是小說憑借著大規(guī)模印刷的技術(shù)而發(fā)展，因此答案為mass production。順著向下找第二個原因就很容易了，原文用in addition引出了第二個原因：With novels, the reader attends mainly to the meaning of words rather than the way they are printed on the page. 對于小說，最重要的是meaning，因此答案選underlying ideas。

再來看summary的第二段：

However, in historical times artists such as Leonardo were happy to instruct __3_____ to produce copies of their work and these days new methods of reproduction allow excellent replication of surface relief features as well as colour and ___4____.

段首就是轉(zhuǎn)折，提出藝術(shù)品在歷史上也可以有復制品。句內(nèi)還有such as這個舉例標志詞，但注意這里只是對artists舉例，謂語動詞were happy to instruct的主語依然是artists(Leonardo只是其中之一)。

對應原文：Yet it has always been possible to make very accurate facsimiles of pretty well any fine art of work…artists seemed perfectly content to assign the reproduction of their creations to their workshop apprentices. 藝術(shù)家把復制作品的工作分配給學徒。因此答案選assistants.

最后一小節(jié)的轉(zhuǎn)折體現(xiàn)在regrettable這個語氣詞上：

It is regrettable that museums still promote the superiority of original works of art, since this may not be in the interests of the ____5___ .

遺憾的是，博物館仍然在推進原作的優(yōu)越性。since這里不是“自從”而是“因為”。

對應原文：Unfortunately, this seems to place severe limitations on the kind of experience offered to visitors. “this”指代上一句中的 “museum still promotes the special status of original work.

博物館的這種做法是不符合參觀者利益的，因此答案選public。
