雅思寫作高分經(jīng)典小詞匯總

雅思寫作部分作為出了名的難拿分單項，是很多同學(xué)都在覺得頭疼的問題，其實對于這部分，出了平常多看名著多積累之外，在用詞上同學(xué)們也要多加足以，有一些詞匯表達太過重視，并不能確切的表達意思，相反一些，短小精悍又好用，在雅思寫作當(dāng)中熟練應(yīng)用這些詞匯可以給同學(xué)們的帶來益處。

1, in the red 赤字 反義：in the black

2, hit the spots 特別好

This lemonade sure hits the spots.

3. hold the grudge 記仇

A: I wish I hadn’t hurt Mary’s feelings like that. You know I never meant to.

B: The great thing about Mary is that she doesn’t hold the grudge.

4. I have no idea which way to turn 我不知道該怎么辦

5.in the works 正在準(zhǔn)備階段

An advanced course in theoretical chemistry is the works.

6, keep to oneself

I’m amazed that you still haven’t gotten to know your neighbors.

7 kill time 浪費時間

Gosh, what can we do to kill the next 10 hours?

8,have had it with 處于

I’ve had it with being sick in bed. I’ve read most of these magazines twice.

9, head and shoulders above 高出許多

In computer programming, Susan is head and shoulders above the rest of us.

10. I have seen worse 我見過更糟的

11, in advance 提前;同義：before hand, ahead of time

It’s a really nice apartment. But the owners want two-month rent in advance and I just don ’t have it.

12, in case 萬一

Let’s take our suits along in case the sun comes out.

13, in next to no time 馬上

A: Are you going to be using the copying machine long?

B: I’ll be through in next to no time.

14. leave…up to somebody

We’ll have to leave the decision up to him.

15, There is nothing to it. 沒什么，很容易

I can run this projector. There’s really nothing to it.

23, than necessary 比應(yīng)該的要冷

The lab was cooler than necessary.
