2014年5月24日托福考試口語真題：

Task 1: Your friend often feels nervous when speaking in front of a large group of people. What suggestions would you like to give to this friend of yours?

Task 2: When you take a trip, do you prefer to just look around, or do you prefer to take pictures and keep a journal on the trip.

Task 3: The student letter suggests that the school should allow students to drink beverages in the library. It reasons that students need coffee or tea to refresh their mind while reading in the library, and that they will do so carefully in order not to spill any drink. However, in the conversation, the girl expresses strong disagreement. She argues that first, there is a café not far away from the library. Taking a few minutes off from studying in the library and having a little walk is a good way to relax. Also, accidents do happen sometimes no matter how careful you are with the beverage, so in the long run, there will be stains on the book or damage to the computer.

Task 4: information overload, 意思就是 amount of information exceeds people’s capacity to process it，much information that people can't process it.教授給了兩個例子，第一個例子就是招聘員工，第一天就收到了很多application，沒有很多時間去看這些，只有挑一些重要的information，其余的部分有時間再看。

Task 5: 女生學習很忙，還有part time job,所以沒有時間去gym鍛煉，有兩個解決方法，第一個是騎車去學校而不坐公交，但是時間很長，外面天氣很熱。第二種方法是早起去健身房，健身完了可以洗澡，但是要早起。

Task 6: Arctic的動物有2種方法適應寒冷的天氣，第一種就是basking,蝴蝶展開翅膀，吸收solar energy,保持自身溫度。第二種是freezing tolerence, 盡管體內(nèi)水分凍結，但是他體內(nèi)的chemical物質可以防止凍傷，當溫度回升的時候，會thaw然后恢復active to normal.

講的是一個女的要轉專業(yè)，但是新專業(yè)要額外學分，她沒有，要么就延期畢業(yè)，advisor聯(lián)系去別的學校summer時候上課，但也只能提供兩分，剩下一分今年已經(jīng)趕不上了，可以明年summer參加一個independence項目。

對話二：
