如何讓你的雅思口語不再屢戰(zhàn)屢敗

如何在雅思口語考試當中拿到高分呢?？這個問題一直是我們考生在去追求及探討的問題。下面筆者通過Bad Example 和 Good Example 來對比一下。

例一：

Bad Example

Examiner: Where do you come from?

Student: I come from Tianjin.

Good Example

Examiner: Where do you come from?

Student: Well, I originally come from Tianjin that is home to a population of over 10,000,000 citizens and is home to a number of well known sporting events.

例二：

Bad Example

Examiner: Do you have a part-time job?

Student: No.

Good Example

Examiner: Do you have a part-time job?

Student: No, but I used to help my uncle at his seafood restaurant during school holidays. It was quite busy and I used to have to show guests to their tables.

大家看出其中的差異了嗎？

Now I explain that there are 4 basic ways to expand an answer. You can give a reason why you think this way, you can give an example or a detail, you can also give some contrasting information, or you can specify certain conditions.（如果考生們在口語考試中感覺無話可說，那么要根據(jù)一個話題給出原因，細節(jié)，例子，對比及條件）

OK,再來看以下例子：

My favorite movie is Titanic

Reason: because it has a really interesting story and great actors.

Example/Detail: My favorite scene is when Leonardo DiCaprio stands at the front of the ship and screams, “I’m king of the world!”

Contrast: but I don’t normally like romantic films. I actually prefer comedies.

OR Conditions: but I only like to watch it sometimes because it’s so long.

To sum up, this allows for the student to demonstrate their speaking skills using a wide amount of vocabulary. It’s crucial to review some key vocabulary to build their confidence in speaking.
